Well, since it's all over facebook by now, I'm sure most of you know, but for anyone who hasn't seen . . . I'm engaged!!! I am so so excited and happy about the whole thing, and I also can't fully believe it's real. This is really silly, but I think part of the appeal for me is that whenever someone shows me a non-diamond engagement ring it reminds me of Anne of Green Gables: she was disappointed in diamonds when she learned that they aren't purple like she imagined, and then when she gets engaged (Anne of Windy Poplars maybe?) her ring is a circle of pearls.
In other news, I am a dork.

Hahaha, I love you. I am so glad I'm not the only person who has ideas/dreams/etc based on books they read in childhood. I still want to visit PEI because of Anne of Green Gables. :) Haha, now I want to go find the box in my dad's attic that has all my childhood books and find all my L.M. Montgomery books. I had pretty much everything she wrote, all the Anne books, all the Emily books . . . I don't remember the details of a lot of them since I started reading them in the second grade, but they were definitely some of my favorites.

Haha, yeah, I do like some old school stuff, like Journey. I will sing along every time Don't Stop Believin' comes on. :)

Yeah, I've referred to him as that almost from the beginning. :) It fits.
