Ug that sucks with all the shit they put you through. I'm so so so so happy for you though! You did it! You've been waiting so long for this and you finally got your permit! Yay!

Thank you! I really feel a sense of accomplishment about all this, because I know it's really hard to get a work permit and obviously it was a very involved process, but I persevered and I did it! It's a good feeling. Now that I'm past the exhaustion of yesterday, I feel proud that I managed to get into Canada on a work permit all on my own. :)

Haha, thanks! It's definitely been frustrating and at times confusing. The sad thing is that I'm not done dealing with the bureaucracy because I still need to get my Canadian Record Check. I tried to do that this morning, but apparently they can only do it if you have valid Canadian gov't issued ID, and even though I'd called previously and was told that I could use my work permit as a form of Canadian ID, they told me when I went in today that I could not. Soooo. Round two.

Mmmmm . . . a few months, maybe? I got them around the same time I changed my layout (which doesn't help if you don't regularly visit my actual page). :p Um, I think I did it sometime in the fall, but I got two mood themes at the same time, a Love Actually one, and a Rent one, and so I've switched between them since I got them. Glad you like them! The credit for the mood themes is on my user info profile.
