Big News in Aliaworld
So, . . . I suppose I have to tell you about the people I work with before you'll know who Bob is. There are my managers - Terri, Ivy, and Maria, all really nice women, but Terri's the best. She's really funny and likes to joke around and talk to people. Then there's Sharon, who works in the office, but is not a manager. She's a junior, well, now a senior, and she's pretty nice. Then there's the other cashiers: Bob!, Sean, Jen, Chris 1 and Chris 2, Brian and Mark . . . I just realized that there's only one other girl cashier. Whatever, it's not important.
So Bob and I have been talking a lot in the two weeks since I've been working there, and he is really funny. He's really nice and he cracks me up all the time, which is great cuz it can be really boring when it's slow there. So, as of last week, I had developed a little crush on him, but I wasn't going to act on it. Sharon and Ivy and Terri kept telling Bob that he should ask me out (I hadn't told them about my crush, they just told him on their own). Then . . .yesterday!
Yesterday, I get to work and I'm parking my bike when Sean comes out. He tells me Bob has a question for me and he know what it is but he can't tell me because Bob would kill him. But he tells me that he (Sean) wants to ask Jen the same question. Then he decides to just tell me anyway, and he says "Bob wants to ask you out." I just say ok, smile, and go inside. So he brings it up later, and says he's not sure if he should ask jen out or not, but that bob wants to ask me. And I tell him that if Bob asked me, I'd say yes. So . . . fast forward a few hours to about four o'clock.
Bob comes over to my register and we're just talking about the cds he burned for Kira, and he says "Do you wanna go out with me?" I (obviously) said yes, and he asked for my phone number. Today he asked me if I wanted to do something this week, to which I said, "sure". So, I have been quite happy and cheerful the past two days! I can't wait till we go on a date!
Juli, I went to fresh fields about an hour ago, but apparently you're not working till 6! darn! I was hoping i'd see you but i guess not. We still have to get together. Maybe sometime this week. And I'm quite excited about the fact that Dan will be home tonight! I haven't seen him since the last day of school, how sad is that!
Ok, well, that's my big news story! Someone please comment on my journal for once! Talk to y'all later. (God, I'm already becoming southern!)
