Of course, there was no sunlight, here on this ship where time existed only through mechanical measures, and Bill missed it a little. He'd been so exhausted by that point that he'd simply retreated to his own quarters, safe in the knowledge that Bill would be keeping an eye on De.
So it was surprising to him when he woke up and noticed it was only just gone nine - especially since there was no daylight that could have roused him.
Well, whatever had woken him, he was awake now, if feeling a little the worse for wear. He ordered the lights on, blinking at the unexpected brightness, then headed off for a quick shower and a change of clothes, before stepping into the main room.
"Hey Bill," he greeted sleepily, not even stifling the yawn that pushed its way to the fore. "De still asleep?"

He leant into the hug with a brief kiss to the corner of Bill's mouth, then faced the replicator.
"Coffee, black," he ordered, since that had seemed to work just fine in the past, and he really, really needed some caffeeine.
