Oh gosh that looks all pretty & creepy at the same time! I wish I could have gone with you - I would have been running around like crazy! XD

It was far more interesting than the pictures make it seem as these were just from walking towards the exhibitions as photography at them wasn't allowed. But just think of a fairytale museum, they made everything look magical and quirky and very different from anything I've seen before.

Merlin's beard - you got to see Merlin's Cave?! Hehe. ;) Ooh, the round table. Nice!

Hang on a second...you didn't go to the Chuck convention with Jules?! Why?

The clue thing at Kensington Palace sounds awesome. I mean, it does look a bit scary (at least the writing on the walls wasn't in red...LOL), but still pretty cool. And how gorgeous are those gardens? Ahh...love it.

Looking forward to reading about your visit to "Shakespeare Disneyland"!

Why yes indeed XD

No :( Gold tickets were £150 which I assumed I would need to be able to hang out with Jules at the same autograph/signing sessions and get seats near each other for the talk. At the time she booked it last year I simply didn't have the funds as I did not have a job yet so I decided against it. There were awesome guests too, such as Captain Awesome and Anna.

It's not scary at all, it's more strange like ending up in Alice's Wonderland. The pictures are all from before I went inside as sadly photography wasn't allowed, and basically on the inside there were exhibitions and displays, but they all looked different than you'd expect (hanging upside for instance).

Afterwards I actually sat on a bench in the park for a few hours to read - it was a beautiful and relaxing place to sit down.

Shakespeare Disneyland? Haha!

Yikes, £150 is expensive! Hmm, I'm not sure if I would spend that much on a convention. I can be a total fangirl sometimes, but I think I'd rather spend my money on things like iPads and ereaders. LOL. Cool that Captain Awesome and Anna were there!

Alice's Wonderland, eh? It sort of reminds me of this place I went to a few years ago called House on the Rock, which was indeed quite scary. It's not meant to be, but it creeped me out. Lots of weird stuff in there. They have the world's largest carousel, which was really quite large. And creepy. Haha!

That sounds lovely, sitting down outside and reading! I did that at the Huntington Library last week...just sat on a bench in the shade and read on my pocket ereader. So relaxing.

Yes, my friend who's writing her Shakespeare dissertation calls Stratford-Upon-Avon "Shakespeare Disneyland" because of all the business named after the Bard's characters. It's like walking through Disneyland with all the themed restaurant and store names. :)
