Oh! I forgot about that store with the funky notebooks! I thought you were talking about the store where Gorjuss was before I saw the pic (and I also remembered while you were talking about the laptop sleeve that looked like a postbag!). Lots of cool stuff there, definately. I think it there wasn't so much traffic I really would have enjoyed the city more.
BTW The Ostrich Pub was not specifically a Being Human location - the Redcliffe Caves were - but they were so sparse and there was no defniate way of knowing WHERE on the harbour the right spot would be that because the pub said you could look right in them (ha, yeah, not so after all that!) then I thought it best to go there & eat at the same time (2 birds - 1 stone).
I kind of regret not getting a cool notebook, but then I guess they were really expensive?
I also have a picture of a wallet that looks like a battered envelope XD
Btw when I was in Brighton this weekend (and AMAZING city which you have to visit next time you're here btw, only 1 hour by train from Victoria Station) a bunch of stores sold Gorjuss stuff too but none of them had nice notebooks unfortunately.
Ah yes, but I don't remember what happened at the cliffs in the show? And also, was that just the dirty corner with the wall outside? :/ When I think of cliffs that doesn't exactly spring to mind.
It wasn't just the traffic, the entire city just didn't do it for me. It just wasn't as pretty as Wales - which really spoiled me - nor had as many interesting things as other big cities.
The Redcliffe Caves were part of the vampire flashback and also where Mitchell smashed imprisoned Cara and smashed out her teeth with a brick. They were inside the caves though so that didn't help, I don't think you could get in unless you did the tour. Like I said when we were there, looks like the wall outside was it... the caves stretch underground for miles and there's a few different entrances so I didn't actually know WHICH one we were meant to go to. At least we managed to pass the hospital though so that was a plus to going there!
Brighton, huh? Well I hope you're taking notes for the next tour of the UK you plan to take me on :P
I don't remember how much the notebooks were. I really wanted to grab one too, but again we were tired and wet and rushed for time (cause we were racing back to the car before 6pm) so we weren't really in the optimal shopping frame of mind!
I know, right? I LOVED that place and the pictures don't even show how epic it really is. I mean, I love castle and it was great visiting a lot of those but this was by far my favourite place because it was so different from anything I've ever seen before.
I kind of regret not getting it, though it was fairly expensive. But yeah it looked very real :D

That video-cassette notebook looks so cool! At first I thought it was an actual cassette until I saw the pages.
