Ahhhhh good to see a lot of things haven't changed in Melbourne :D I still miss the place

As you can see, the buildings in Melbourne are very divers. Some look modern, others look really old

That's because Federation Square IS new and Flinders Street Station IS old :P LOL Federation Square was only built like in the last 6 years so I haven't even seen it.

we came across the sci-fi store Minotaur which we checked out. We drooled a lot but were very good and not buying anything

Tis a good store isn't it? *nods* I'll pass the news on to Jen that it still exists and still has plenty to buy there XD (BTW I totally LMAO when you said it was better than the con :$ )

And every hour these pillars would spit flames, which was quite impressive to see.

*wonders if Zarina realises she was on Southbank outside Crown Casino* :( I really wish I coulda been there to go "this is this and this is this" *is such a tourist guide sometimes* :$

This is a Dutch musician who's apparently huge in Australia. He's Dutch??? LOL how did I not know?? I think ( ... )

Dude Flinders Station can't possible be "old" :P Some of the buildings looked like from the Roman time but Australia as a whole is still so new that it's impossible

Good store yes, but very expensive :(

I realised :P We went inside as well, Gen is an excellent tour guide, we'd taken the tour bus thing and such and I can read a map :P

Yup he's Dutch and an arrogant bastard >.<

Hee! Nice meeting you! (I'm the one you went to have Indian with ;))

Great shots of the flames, I can never get a good shot of them for some reason... :(

I could go into the technical details of shutter speed, exposure rate and all of that, but I won't bore you with all that. :P

Also, that something random pic you had? It's the Melbourne Mint seal, and that was the old Melbourne Mint office. No idea what's there now though since the place closed in the late 60s I think.

My camera doesn't have all those options :P I just know that at night when I want to take a picture the flash goes of INCREDIBLY slow, so it registers every tiny movement I make and my pic turns out blurry.

Ohh, I actually knew that >.< I read the plaque on the gate but I forgot lol

Fluffly ducklings! Fluffy clouds! Awwww.

Those lamps. He. He. HE. So pervy. Is it wrong of me to wish they should have put Zach's face on them?

Awww goodness, look at the Converse overload of win! (too bad I'm not allowed to wear Converse on account of having short calve muscles. I love those shoes!)

LOL If you'd buy a lamp like that you're always free to pimp it up with a face (the one with the pink hat y/y?)

Aww that sucks :( I only wear Converse at nothing else (even in Winter :$)

XD You give me plenty of good ideas keep them coming. Hahaha yes and while we're at it, make that two lamps: one with Zach's face, and one with Sendhil's face. LOL!!!

As of now I'm no longer supposed to wear high heels so you'd think there's nothing wrong with Converse, BUT, according to this doctor I visited a few weeks ago, the material they're made of isn't supportive enough and eventually I might get sore feet - and calves -, which is exactly what we're trying to avoid here. Oh, body, why are you made of fail? *kicks herself*

I went to see Wicked as well on the Saturday night and I loved it. We had one of those bright green drinks which I'm sure where 50% sugar, 50 %alcohol and green dye!

And yeah, David Hewlett's panel was fantastic!

*is listening to the Wicked soundtrack right now and still*

I saw those drinks! I was tempted to get one for the glass alone, but in the end I didn't.

Yeah the glass was pretty cool with the green light, I have it on my shelf at home!

I loved how they intertwined their own story with the original Wizard of Oz, it was really well done especially how they explained who the Tin Man and Scarecrow were.

That's what I loved most too! It all makes sense that it happened like this.
