For those concerned (and I know there aren't any of you) I sold off all my land in SL to two of my neighbours there. Couldn't afford either the tier fees or the cost of the premium membership.

First time I've been landless in SL since... well, since ever.

It's only virtual, right? So why do I feel homeless?

You could rent an apartment with linden dollars if you want, or ask a friend to let you live at their house.

It isn;t the same as actually owning property. SL is actually the only place I've ever been where I have had property in my own name, so losing it feels very uncomfortable.

And renting isn't an option anyway. It takes money, of which I still have none. Less than none, if the bank is correct.

Alas. And yeah, I had to give up my SL land when I moved into my apartment. Or rather, a couple months beforehand. I had that land ever since they introduced the current land ownership system.

Also, I just picked up like tons of land for almost nothing!!! *GGG*
It's cool, please, when you can afford it, your land should be at the least part, available for your return!! I'll hold on to what I can for as long as I can...
Since I'm never there, tell me how to make you able to do whatever you want on the land, and you can.

Dang Ron, I didn't even know you where on SL .. lol .. K I'll admit its been a while since I've been on LJ to start with

I own a sim with my mate and girl, but we might be simless start of next month when LL increases the fee for them - since all three of us have less and less income from the work we do within SL

We hope we dont louse it but if we do we'll just have to use sand boxes for what ever amount of time it takes till we can afford tier again for a half decent size location.
