Fandom: Being Human (original UK version)
Rating: Teen
Content: Image-heavy (it's a picspam!). Some images depict a human in pain while transforming into a wolf. Also some male nudity, and one image of gore.
Notes: Made for
kink_bingo 2011 for my exposure square (
card here). Yes, again. George Sands is a werewolf and his storyline in the first episode of Being Human has him both emotionally and physically exposed because of it; I thought it would make a good
kink_bingo fill. Screencaps are from
Fishstick Theatre and some have been slightly edited.
This is George
George is a werewolf
The viewer learns fairly quickly that George, who works at the hospital as a porter, normally transforms there in a remote room. The first time the viewer sees him go down there, however . . .
George gets an unhappy surprise
George is very uncomfortable with his werewolf nature, and locking himself up during the full moon is all that feels safe. With his safe routine disrupted, he finds himself rushing to find somewhere to transform in peace.
He tries the woods . . .
. . . but the woods are full
He returns to the car
Transforming in the woods had already been George's back-up plan, and that doesn't work. At this point he's running out of time fast, and he's scared and panicking. That's when he asks Mitchell to drive him back to their house.
They prepare
Transforming in his home is the last thing George wants to do. Even though he lives with a vampire and a ghost, George maintains a strict boundary between his werewolf self and his human self; his home is for the human. At this point, though, he has no choice.
To make matters worse, this is when Annie makes an unexpected request.
Annie asks to stay and watch George transform
George does not want Annie to watch, and is shocked that Mitchell thinks she should
Transforming at home is already a nightmare, but having someone stand there and watch him do it seems worse. George is completely against it, but with Annie and Mitchell both supporting the idea, George gives in and agrees to let Annie watch his transformation from the kitchen.
George gets ready
Along with the emotional aspect to George's situation, there is the physical aspect. George is anxious and uncomfortable about his transformation moving into his domestics sphere, and he's uncomfortable with Annie observing the process, but to top it all off? Nudity.
George's displeasure at being observed is obvious from his expression:
Annie watches George from the kitchen
The transformation starts
Annie reacts, and ultimately leaves
By attempting to watch George while he transformed, Annie realizes how traumatizing George's experience as a werewolf must be. She ends up being the one more upset by the events of the full moon.
George decides to share one more thing with Annie . . .
. . . The night that changed his life
The story ends with George being the one doing the comforting.
George comforts Annie
