Yes. CNTM is that low budget. There is so little money for television and film in Canada that is for locally produced projects and the government is very pikcy about giving out money for "arts" projects. Without that Delissio we wouldn't have CNTM. Oh sigh. The arts in Canada is tough.

I really like Rebecca's shot. But she is really homely... and her makeover looks atrocious.

Rebecca looks like a Marc Jacobs (ie: alternative) model and that's straight up the only reason why she got picked. I don't think she's traditionally beautiful at all, sorry! Her makeover just amplifies it...
