Yesterday morning I finally cut Tyler's nails. Baby nails are sharp little things. Up until a few weeks ago Tyler's nails would get to a certain length and they'd break off. I know once they show signs of turning over you are supposed to stop. Ty isn't turning over yet but he is starting to turn his body toward us when we are laying next to him and he's on his back. The Halo sleep sack swaddler has the removable swaddling part but you can also just move it down so it swaddles but leaves baby's arms free. Maybe I'll try that tonight.
It was so hard to not hold Tyler constantly. When I wasn't holding him and he was sleeping I'd watch him and ache to hold him again. So I would let him fall asleep on me and just hold him all the time. Now I need to use his naps to get stuff done (like updating LJ) you know, important stuff!

Just wondering, as my kid doesn't sleep through the night so take this as you wish he he, what if you swaddled Tyler in a really light blanket and put him in warm jammies? It seems like you are worried that he'll be cold. My kid hated HATED being swaddled ... he would cry and cry. He hates to have blankets on him too. Finding sleepers in Alabama in the middle of summer was not easy!
