Quick question

Is it a thing for Canadians to visit all the provinces either accidently through the course of normal life or purposefully?

I hope I'm phrasing this right and this is the appropriate place for this post. I'm just super curious! Thanks in advance for any responses.

It's not a "thing", no. People often move around for work, especially those from the eastern provinces which are also very nice for vacation destinations.

Thanks for the reply. I know in the US lots of people try to visit all the states as a sort of travel goal so I was wondering if Canadians did it too.

Well, not that I know of though there probably are people that do. But we only have 10 provinces and 3 territories. Take the train across country and you cover 8 provinces in one go.

That's true. I'm basically just curious because after I went to all 50 states, I set my sights on the provinces (just 2 to go!) and everyone I've told side eyes me pretty hard but I personally don't think it is that odd of a thing. I would have liked to take the train but I don't really have the time for it so I've had to do what I've done in several different trips, usually including states with them.

Provinces maybe. Territories, probably not :) I've visited 9 out of 10 provinces without really trying (over 15 years). Haven't had any reason to go to Newfoundland, nor the territories.

I'll be in Newfoundland this week so I'll let you know if you've missed out :P
