Why is everyone getting snow but us?

Okay, we did get snow, but 5cm is not a "blizzard" like we were supposed to get. It's an average day in Toronto in winter.

Well, it's started snowing again, but I still marvel at everyone freaking out about this like it never happens. It does. Every year. Funnily enough, usually during the same few months!

For us in NY, we don't usually get this much snow this consistently. It is an oddity for us.

School never gets canceled here because of it, though. It's because they're not allowed to dump it all into the ocean anymore, so there are huge piles of it along the sidewalks and such. If those don't melt (which they haven't, thus far), new snow creates a huge problem, since there's nowhere to put it.

Yeah, I think it's just because that's totally normal for us (although school doesn't get cancelled up here ever; snow day? lulz) and this is like the third year in a row in which there's been significant snowfall in other areas and I guess I'm expecting y'all to be used to it by now, too. >.> BE MORE CANADIAN, OKAY?
