Apparently LJ Is going to be purging all 'inactive' accounts - that means any account not logged into for 24 months. So if you've got journals you don't use that often but don't want to lose, log in!

Actually, I'm going to let them do all the work and e-mail me with the ones that are up to be purged. I'll think about which ones I want to keep then.

You can go to the forgot password page and have lj email you ALL you usernames. I did that last night for both my email addresses and am going through now and seeing what I want to keep.

I'm leaning toward keeping everything that I ever used to post to a community with, because I'm weirded out by the thought of that stuff being erased. Though LJ has amended its original post to make it seem like they might not be erasing comments by purged users, only suspended ones. Hm.
