I gave yet more blood to doctor's office. I expect nothing to be out of balance, because hey, nothing ever is.

I've lost near 15 lbs. without even remotely trying. I've not done a thing to my diet (it's still crap!) and I'm actually less active than before ( Read more... )

twop is full of crazies, job musings, fandom? what fandom, random, medical crap, real life stuff

I think of the many curiousities of the TWoP crowd, the oddest one is their complete inability to consider the fact that they may have it all wrong, and they don't remotely represent the average SV fan. Its like "OH NO, this cannot be!" Well, yeah, it can...and it is.

I hope you feel better.

That's about it in a nutshell. I mean, I get that it's disappointing to really, really want to see a particular storyline/plot happen and find out that no, it's not going to be that way, but to basically make yourself incapable of seeing outside your own narrow fandom view boggles my mind.

And thank you.

Well, I'm not outraged that Lois survives, but I'm not convinced the E! stuff means she's back either. It's lonely in my world today. :(

I've been hoping you post your Zod thoughts somewhere over there.

But mostly, I am a little worried about your weight loss. My cat has liver problems and she suddenly lost 1/2 her weight in a few months. I know you're not a cat and that I'm not a doctor, but maybe it's something to do with your liver? She's not digesting protein and her body was breaking down muscle mass.

Get well, that's the most important thing!

Aww. I do understand the disappointment, don't get me wrong. And really, if I've got you on my flist I do think you're actually reasonable even if we disagree on certain fandom points. It's the ones who blindly and purposefully refuse to allow themselves to even consider an alternate possibility that get to me. As for Zod, I thought about it, but I'm not sure I could keep up with the potential response, simply due to my lack of energy. I really just needed it out of my head and posting it here has allowed my brain to move on to other things. :)

My doc's definitely looking into the weight loss, along with a bunch of other things that I suspect will turn out to be just fine. I'm not overly concerned because I could ideally stand to lose a lot more but given that my lifestyle hasn't changed it's not something we're ignoring. I am now concerned for your kitty, however. I lost one a couple of years ago to liver failure and it's really not something I recommend. :/

I think Bailey's diet has done a lot to make things better. She's gain weight and probably is up to eight pounds. She lives with my mother, so I don't see her a lot anymore but I do take care of the doctor stuff and make sure she's licensed.

As far SV, I just like discussing stuff. I really don't care what the idea is, I'll consider it. In fact, I'll have a hard time making up my mind on stuff but once I do, I'm very stubborn. I like ideas and you have good ones.

edited because I can't spell with a shit

Eight pounds! Man. Mine weigh 12 and 15 respectively. And the one who passed was 23 at her biggest. I think I'm sensing a pattern. >.>

I'm glad my ideas come across as good, anyway.
