I should be updating or something, shouldn't I. Thing is, I'm not one of those people who goes into minute detail of their day to day activities, even when those activities are taking place while on vacation.
To sum up: I had fun. I really thought I'd be done by Saturday, but I was still going strong on Monday and good to come home on Tuesday. ( Read more... )

Also, the sand/dirt on PEI is red because of the Tertiary red beds, I believe. The beds are detrital (broken, worn, sand-sized, etc) sedimentary rocks with reddish-brown ferric oxide coloring on grains, in pores, and dispersed throughout the bed.
