Are you sure that you didn't mis-send your letter to a different Alanna? While the image of my sister as a bridesmaid does fill me with the urge to laugh for a few days, I have trouble believing that is the effect you're going for. Though I think she would turn a lovely shade of pruce when informed of the fact that she would need to wear a dress.
And she's currently in the desert, trying to ... I don't even know what she's doing there, actually, something about an evil sword and face veils. I'll pass on your message to her with the next person crazy enough to leave the comforts of the Palace.
