Aeryn's up early- big shock- but for some reason today she can only lay there so long. There are days when even she feels more active than others. So she gets up, going to feed the sea monkeys, the shark, and the as-yet-unnamed fish. One day she'll come up with a name for it, seriously.

John wakes up but doesn't leave the bed, choosing instead to tuck one arm under his head and watch her feed their massive array of animals.

After tapping on the glass of the fish tank to make sure the fighting fish really is alive- yep- she covers all the food and only notices John when she turns around. "Hey," she greets him quietly.

"Hi," he says. "Everyone still alive over there?"

"So far. The new fish seems to worry me, though," she says, walking over.
