Room 238, Saturday afternoon

It's been a while since Aeryn's had nothing to do. The pets are fed, the place is actually clean, she has no homework to do... At the moment she's lounging on the couch, wondering why it's so quiet and whether or not the toaster has gotten out.

"Are you bored?" John asks, coming out of the kitchen with a drink in his hand.

"I couldn't have just been thinking of being happy?"

"Were you?"

"Nope..." He pinches her toes playfully.

Her foot twitches a little at that, and see, this is why she's cautious. "No?"

"Nope," he says and tickles her feet.

Her feet aren't really ticklish, but she twitches again and bends her knees, flattening her feet against his thigh. "So are you planning on enlightening me anytime soon?"

He laughs and scratches the tops of her feet. "You wanna know?"

She shrugs one shoulder. "Yes."

"Okay." He grins at her. "Was thinking about you."

Aeryn raises her eyebrows and says, "Oh?"

"Uh huh," he says and wiggles her big toe.

[can_be_more]

"Good things?" she asks, alternating between watching him and watching his hands.

[whitedeathpod]

"Perhaps..." He runs a finger down the front of her foot.

"You're having fun teasing me, aren't you?" she asks, still watching him.

[whitedeathpod]

"I am," he says, still smiling. "Highlight of my day."
