After getting a voicemail, Peter decided to stop by Aeryn's room. He knocked on the door.

"Not formal training. Well, I learned one kung fu move one time, but that's it. Otherwise, I've just worked things out as I went along," Peter said. "The powers help, of course."

"What are the powers?" she asked. "I've seen them and I'm still not sure."

[peter__parker]

"I'm really strong, fast, and agile, which makes up for the complete lack of training. When I first started with this stuff, I didn't need to know how to throw a good punch if I could hit hard enough, fast enough, and from enough angles. It's handy," Peter said. "Also, I can stick to walls."

"That must be helpful."

[peter__parker]

"It is," Peter said. "Also, it means I never have to ask for help opening a pickle jar."

"If I ever need help with that, I know who to go to now."

[peter__parker]

"Just not for a few weeks, obviously," Peter said, again holding up his cast.

"You can't do it one-handed? I'm disappointed."

[peter__parker]

"Well, in theory I could web the pickle jar to the counter then take the jar top off, but then it would be stuck to the counter for an hour."

[can_be_more]

"I can see where that would be a problem," she says. "You could have someone hold it for you."

[peter__parker]

"That's cheating," Peter said. "No, if I'm going to open a pickle jar, I'm going to do it myself and I think I can let this pickle jar thing die now."

"Yes, I have no idea why I'm even discussing it," she admits.
