John nearly bowled into the apartment, jacket wrapped around him and just tossing his bag across the floor so he could shut the door behind him.

"It is so freaking cold out there," he groused as he came inside and tried to warm up.

"Better than the alternative," Aeryn reminded him. "The heat's already on." Not high, because there were bills to worry about, but it was something.
