The apartment's looking more like an apartment, what with furniture and all, and Aeryn is even dressed more or less like Aeryn today, and overall she's just glad to see people.

As are the fish, who are looking very cheerful today. You can totally tell. And then they forget why they're cheerful three seconds later. Oh well.

"You look nice," John said, relaxing in jeans and a t-shirt. Typical for him.

"Thanks," she says, feeling not exactly as uncomfortable in this as she has been the last few weeks. "Any idea how long it'll take them to get here?"

Oh, look, a knock at the door.

And then a much more cheerful series of knocks a second letter.

John blinked. "Wow, that's some timing."

Bakery!

After leaving the apartment, the four drove out to a bakery not too far away that Aeryn vaguely knew from some website or another. As soon as they opened the door, everything smelled liked cake and she was wondering if this was really necessary.

Rory stared in awe. "...this is what heaven must be like. Only maybe with less frosting because I don't think heaven is sticky."

"This can't be really necessary," Aeryn said quietly, because there weren't a lot of people in here and she didn't want to offend someone who might endup making the cake, you know? Any other time, sure, but not for her wedding.
