It's just about that temperature that Aeryn needs to stay indoors. It's probably not bad enough that she'll get cranky, twitchy and die, but as it is she's irritated that she has to stay indoors at all, especially when she has energy to burn off. So she's sitting on the living room couch, nursing a water bottle and glaring at the window like that's

"What'd the window ever do to you?" John asked, taking a seat across from her.

"The window's not the problem," she says, still frowning at it.

"Then what's the problem?"

She reaches over to put the bottle down and says, "It isn't even summer yet. This is hardly fair."

"Oh," he says, getting it. "Sorry, babes. Hot day."

"I'll deal with it," she says, shrugging. Though seriously, she's not big on the being cooped up today.

"We could play a game?"

Technically every game they've ever played has been played wrong and then ended in things that shouldn't happen in a cabin living room if they have any sense of decency whatsoever. "What kind?"

"Truth or Dare?"

...Hm, okay that game had ended with them fighting and her sleeping on the couch in the common room because the party was in her room at the time. And he hadn't been playing. "Maybe we should skip that one," she suggests.

"Okay," he says. "Um...wrestling?"

That just gets her to laugh.

"You want to wrestle in the cabin's living room?"

"Why not?"

[can_be_more]

"That would be interesting for people to walk in on," she points out. And again, especially considering the way it usually ends up. You know, Aeryn's noticing a pattern?
