Maybe Aeryn's a little paranoid. Which is why as soon as she's finished checking through 238, she's in her own room, looking around for little gremlin hiding places. This involves a pair of rubber gloves- one can never be too careful- and a swiped knife. She is taking no chances, okay? They could hide in shoes.

Earlyish in the evening, Rory knocked on the door with several sheets of paper in hand.

In the middle of going through her closet and tipping over the pointy prom shoes just in case, Aeryn finds herself wincing. But she's not going to hide, so she stands up, and with the knife in the other hand, opens the door. "Hi, it was a gremlin," she greets her.

"I figured," Rory said. "I also figured you need booze and amusement. I have no booze. I bring amusement."

She frowns at one word, them remembers what it means. "I had enough of that last night," she says. "You're not upset?"

"Why would I be mad? It was funny," Rory said. "It's not every day I'm called a lesbian maid."

Aeryn squeezes her eyes shut, but shakes it off. "I thought I was supposed to kiss Anakin," she says, in case she didn't know.

"Yes, but you didn't," Rory said. She'd heard. "It's okay. Parker actually did."

Another wince. "I'd been trying to repress hearing about that."

"Yes, it was bad," Rory said nodding. She stepped in and shut the door. "So, speaking of my esteemed boyfriend at his finest...."

She held up the papers in her hand. "Want to see some pictures that'll make you laugh, maybe?"

She's definitely interested, but asks, "What, from this weekend?"

"Nope," Rory said, holding up a picture of a familiar ten year-old covered in noodles.

Aeryn can't stop the initial laugh, but calms herself quickly. "Oh."

Rory held up another one - this time, of Anakin getting his first Padawan haircut. "The screaming's a good look for him, isn't it? He looks so pleased."

Aeryn does laugh this time, definitely. "If I'd seen this before Coruscant, the Jedi barber would have had a whole new meaning for me."

Rory held up her favorite. "I don't know exactly why he's wearing the blue paint," she said, shrugging at the image of Anakin obviously mid-growth spurt and dripping blue paint with a pout.

"Maybe he's trying to be Delvian," Aeryn suggests. "Is he pouting?"
