I manipped this as an illustration for my Daniel/Vala story "Once Upon a Ha'tak". Vala's head is from episode 10x08 "Memento Mori", and Daniel's is from 9x02 "Avalon Part 2".

It took me 4 hours & I'm still not happy with Vala's head, but OH WELL.

One thing I did notice about the original was that it was heavily Photoshopped, too, and had awkward head positioning.

I'm pleased at how the lighting on the pasted faces matches up with the light angle in the source pic; that's the biggest challenge in a head swap.
