There's not a whole lot to go on canon wise as to the character's religious affiliations, I can only speculate so much as I'm not up on the whole US/religion thing

ohhhh you're commenting srs bzns right as I'm getting ready for bed! 3x08 "Demons" DANIEL: Well, if these people were already Christians when they were taken from Earth, that suggests this Goa'uld is…is playing… O'NEILL: God? As in God God? It's a bit of a stretch, don't you think? TEAL'C: I know of no Goa'uld capable of showing the necessary compassion or benevolence that I have read of in your Bible. O'NEILL: You read the Bible, Teal'c? TEAL'C: It is a significant part of your Western culture. Have you not read the Bible O'Neill? O'NEILL: Oh yeah, yeah, not all of it. Actually, I'm listening to it on tape. Don't tell me how it ends.
I too like the ambiguity of the characters' religious/spiritual beliefs in the show, but it's plain that IF any of them follow a faith, that they're not fundamentalists, evangelicals, or exclusivists; they'd unequivocally fall into the liberal, inclusivist and somewhat universalist end of the spectrum.
MacGyver sounds like he has some serious issues with women.
That thread is total GLEE. Stargate fan squee in the Atheist section of Reddit! I loved the exchange about falling for Amanda Tapping and getting a hug.
ETA: *shakes fist* Curse you for pointing this thread out to me! I'm wasting waaay too much time LMAO here!!! *goes back to reading*
ETA2: You are an evil evil woman and a terrible influence. Thank you for that.

it's just my opinion, not much to back it up canon-wise.
