Last time it was "The Monster Mash."

I can see we have a fan of the...classics.

This is an actual classic, isn't it? Classical like Beethoven or Bach?

Bach, actually. And yes, this is actually a legitimate piece of music.

You say that like replacing the Transylvania Twist isn't a sign of legitimacy for the Monster Mash.

But, thanks for the Bach note. It helps to think of a dude in a powdered wig instead of some Phantom creep playing this.

Is there a convenient mad scientist's lair in the vicinity? [laughing a little, the question more or less pertains to both previous statements.]

Yeah, but it's probably more...lairs. I don't think the resident mad scientists like to bunk together.

Ah. [sagest of nods] Battling geniuses.

Plus, they probably suck at the whole co-habitation thing in general.

Do you know any of them personally?

Not enough to get an evil lair invite. Most of them I hear about from other people, or I met them but they didn't immediately start in on some "It's alive!" cackling so I didn't notice.

[pfffft] There's enough walking re-animated around here to spare.

Yeah, but they're hardly up to Romero standards.

Oh, I don't know. I kind of prefer 1968. Unless you're referring to their dedication.

And their lack of dedication. They got smarter in Dawn of the Dead once they learned the perils of mall living.
