I'd no idea you were close-- but I suppose it makes sense, as he is also very important to Taiki.

We are not as close as, perhaps, we seem. His loyalties lie with Taiki, of course, and so occasionally I am viewed as an outsider... possibly an intruder. It is charming, despite being slightly annoying on occasion.
