I'm pretty simple, for all that I'm old. I'm not that smart. But I've seen gods. And I've seen what happens when they're lonely. And people suffer as much then. I suffered.

Anyone strong enough to put someone in a cage can become like Apollo. Anyone weak enough to let it happen can become like me. We worked out our differences in the end, but . . . you should try to find some kind of middle answer to this, I think. Because it isn't worth the pain it causes either way.
