[ looking for this guy? he's lounging in his hammock at the edge of Camp, nearby Cabin McAvoy this time, with an arm flung over his face because someone made off with his sunglasses the other morning and the replacements that Camp keeps trying to drop on his head just aren't cutting it. ]

*following that one particular mind out toward the edge of Camp. one of the benefits of farmland, at least, is that even off the beaten path, it's a pretty easy go. spots Erik and pauses a moment, shaking his head with a smile at the traveling hammock.*

*fishes Erik's sunglasses out of his pocket and watches himself dangling them between his fingers*

We're in a region with four seasons, you know. You should enjoy the nice weather while we still have it. What do you plan do when winter comes?

[ turns his head so that he can look at you from beneath the shade of his arm. he pays no attention to the sunglasses. ]

*his eyes are still focused on his toying with the glasses but his mind is thoroughly enjoying the sense of warm relaxation next to him*

If I go out one wintry morning and find you outside as a reclining snowman, I will laugh my head off.

[ huffs a laugh ]

I think I've got time. And everyone here seems inordinately concerned with my ability to regulate temperature, so I doubt this'll be the last I hear of it.

Have you tried regulating temperature?

Thermal radiation is electromagnetic radiation, after all. Anything above absolute zero has it.

[ he sounds a bit perturbed. ]

I'm not a physicist, of course, so I really haven't much to say on the subject. But I will be blaming any unusual spikes in temperature on you from now on.
