[near the mess hall there are a dozen or so small tables neatly and slightly formally set for a tea party, including pastries and finger sandwiches and chocolates (sugar free of course). Sometimes? Seems like our food goes from being gourmet one day to inedible the next. I think it probably depends on who's on cooking duty.
