I'll have to look into that. There are some surprisingly good records in the library, considering the state of some of the books.

Not too bad, all things considered. I've been working on trying to figure out what's going on with the creepy countdown clock and the mysterious emails, but so far whoever's behind it is doing their best to be cryptic.

Yes, I'd been taking a look at those. No one's been able to uncover anything yet technologically speaking, I take it? I must admit to being at a disadvantage on that front, though I am catching up quite quickly, if I do say so myself.

Not yet. Whoever's behind it is going through a lot of trouble to cover their tracks. Which is understandable, but frustrating, 'cause how do you prepare for something when you don't even know what's coming? It's a tactical nightmare.

Or maybe their actual aim is to put people on edge. Intentionally create confusion, panic.

I considered that, but I figured being worried but prepared is better than the alternative.

Being prepared is necessary, of course. But getting too worried will only serve as an obstruction. The importance of keeping a clear mind cannot be underestimated.

I remember seeing some notes about other countdowns occurring in camp. I'll have to go back and take a closer look at those.

I'd love that. I've mostly been doing some old-fashioned footwork in the library, so to speak, and have been working on getting in contact with people who have been here for a while and seem to have collected some information.

We should compare notes. I've talked to a few people, and I've been collecting what I can from online records, but there are some pretty big gaps.
