*Did things just get dimmer? Or maybe the atmosphere just became oppressive? At least in the vicinity of this particular barn. Out of nowhere, bad memories, insecurities, or a sudden case of the sads might be trying to bubble up

[closes his mouth, lips pressing into a thin line]

Indeed, it would seem quite so. Speechless and grim.

One does seem to catch you in these moods rather often.
