I have taken the bed farthest from the windows. I hope none of you mind, as I very much would like to avoid having an undead hand smash through and attempt to choke me in the middle of the night ( Read more... )

I'm on the one on top of yours. Funny how that works out. I'm in the process of fortifying the roof above us, be glad.

I assume that we're going to be the last to die, then.

From what I've gathered, the zombies' arms usually fall off when they attempt to climb anything. The blood-thirsty animals might be a problem.

Right. I'll just be fetching the ladder and will joining you in fortifying that roof, then.

Just bring me some metal and wood scraps from... I don't know. Steal them? I can do the rest.

There's a canoe and the better part of a cardboard box outside the cabin, just left of the door. I think you can use that for now.

I'm afraid that I have not learned how to operate the gun, yet. Until I do, I'm going to have to remain inside. Ask L-kun, if you can get him away from his laptop.

I have situated myself halfway between the window and your bunk. My reasoning is, not only will I have the advantage over those close to the window in that they'll be the first to start screaming (giving me advance warning to formulate a plan of action), but I am also closer to the escape route in the possible even that, say, one of you turns into a zombie.

It's useful to cover all possible circumstances, you see.

We should probably formulate a plan for action in the case that anyone of us turns into a zombie.

Death by food poisoning is looking very probable right now.

I have already begun to create a stash of food. It contains mostly sugar cubes and Twinkies, and thus will never spoil or go bad. The qualities of the Twinkie that allows it to survive a nuclear-thermo explosion also tends to negate poison and turn it into a harmless creamy substance that merely adds a slight lemon flavoring to the Twinkie.

I hope you realize that an adequate diet needs protein, minerals, and vitamins.

Is there any way to create a triple bunk, or is the ceiling too low for that?

I think we should board up the windows. All of them. And have at least several locks on the door, because I refuse to stay in such a place without locks on the door. I should have the same security measures at home that I do here...

We could always push all the beds to the one side of the room and then blockade the other side with furniture. That, however, rather defeats the purpose of having windows at all.

Dynamo thinks we should raid one of the other cabins... maybe the one with Axl...

We can steal their beds and use them to fortify our own position.

That's very I Right then Robot Well

It would be rather impolite... But, if it would keep us alive a little longer... then by all means do so.
