Yeah? What will you sell it for? Maybe fishing bait...

I suppose one could use it for that.

I had assumed that people would eat them, or use them to improve their equipment...

Ohh--no, I think the only time people might be willing to do that is Tuesday. And not even then.

...I do not see what the day has to do with anything, but whyever not, in either case?

*a break in the rain means it's time to go through some sword kata, but he pauses when he notices the kid gathering worms*

[Oh, you are clearly a fighter]

Good day; would you be interested in the purchase of some worms?

...For what purpose?

[Blinks]

Well... I would certainly not dictate how you would use your own purchases, but most would either eat them or use the component parts to strengthen their weapons or armor...

[a girl with an umbrella and a flock of adolescent rainbow chickens is going on a worm digging experience as well]

--How colorful! Are they not dangerous?

... nay.

They are very curious raptor chicks. Are you training them to know your scent, perhaps? Will you use them in hunting?

It could be useful for alchemic purposes..

...I would have thought simple cooking enough. What potions would you make of worms?

lostvalhalla September 10 2010, 23:16:35 UTC
Perhaps it's body could be some sort of healing tonic if properly made?

watchmycannon September 10 2010, 23:18:47 UTC
Perhaps so, though I am no alchemist, and so could not confirm that.

[crouches down to the boy's height]

What are you doing?

Reply

watchmycannon September 10 2010, 23:57:06 UTC
I am harvesting worms.

Reply

ofcygnus September 11 2010, 00:02:21 UTC
But why? Is it because they are drowning from the rain?

Reply

watchmycannon September 11 2010, 00:54:09 UTC
Hardly. I am harvesting them so that others may eat them, or use them to improve their weapons.
