[in the Crypt cabin, Kuchiha is currently curled up on her bed. the beading of the sweat from...fever? probably doesn't bode well for her current condition.]

...ah, what's that?

[touches the words, glancing at her fingertips]

[It wasn't blood, after all. Just the red clay caked into the grooves in the stone.]

[brushes her fingers off, continuing onwards.]

[There's an alcove to your left. It appears to be a tomb.]

[heirofthedog]

[oh, does it. walking twords it.]

[fuckyou_chorus]

[There's a skeleton arranged in a peaceful repose. A mask is placed where its skull should be.]

Mask, huh.

[pokes this experimentally]

[It's a normal mask. There doesn't seem to be anything spiritually significant about it; the owner has long passed and won't be missing it]

[but, it's still something I don't need cluttering my hands at this moment. continuing onwards.]

[There is another alcove with a tomb. This is mostly empty, save for a single feather.]

[wonders, briefly, how a bird came to the tomb when it was still buried. then keeps walking.]

[Another alcove with a tomb to your left, and a hall to your right. You can hear moaning and the rattling of chains from that direction.

Pressing forward will take you back to the first room.]

[checking her grip on the sword and stepping into the hallway on the right]

[fuckyou_chorus]

[Peeking into the room, you see an enormous skeletal figure floating above the ground, chains dragging on the floor behind him as he circles an open casket. He has no skull, just an inky darkness with baleful yellow eyes. He's clutching a crystal in his left hand. It glows with a golden light.]

THEY'VE SEEN MY FACE!

[The monster has yet to sense your presence.]

[...ow. tightens her jaw, and steps in.]
