[while you're going about your business, you might hear a voice under the noise of everyday life. it's very small and very quiet, sort of like a lost child.
i don't want to, i don't want to, i'm scared
search for it or ignore it, it won't go away; regardless, while you're searching, or minding your business, or whichever you choose: you find an Ace of either Clubs, Diamonds, Spades, or Hearts. pick up the card, and there's something a little strange in the air ...]
((I will give you a randomly-assigned card, and after that, people may choose how fast they want these effects to take place--whether immediately or over the course of play, but this plot will run for a week. Try to limit to two characters affected, if you want to throw in multiples. I am trusting you guys to be reasonable rational adults and to not godmode others and to talk things out if necessary. This post is for reference; please check it if you need to! IF I AM NEEDED FOR MEDIATION OR DIRECTION, you may find me as Hakuren on IRC and nekokoban on gmail.
