[There is a boy staring up at the sky, his eyes wide. After a few moments, he blinks and rubs them, then stares some more. It's almost as if he can't believe what he's seeing.]

That's what I'm trying to figure out.

There does not seem to be anything of interest in the sky, at present...

Strange. Maybe he's observing the clouds, then?

It is a possibility. I believe that making out shapes in the clouds is a popular hobby for young children and couples.

It is. That's probably what he's doing, then.

And what are you doing?

I am watchi--knitting. I am knitting.

[ ... it's made up of more knots than stitches though :D; ]

[... uh-huh sure you are]

That's not a very convincing coverup.

It was not meant to be one... not entirely, that is. How could I make it more convincing?

By not slipping up on your sentence, for starters.

And maybe practice that a little bit more. Even though you could probably get away with inexperience ... but you need to make that sound convincing, too.

I see. This is a relatively new hobby, so it is understandable that my initial work would not be as expected. I believe that this is a satisfactory attempt, however?

Uh...

I wouldn't know. I don't really knit or anything, myself. I guess it's not bad? But you'll probably get better.

"Not bad" is a good start. Thank you for your input. I will definitely work harder.

Is there a reason why you do what you're doing?

I have been told that I need less creepy hobbies, and was recommended knitting.

You do.

Why do you watch people all the time, anyway?
