[There's a guy, leaning outside the mess hall this evening, just watching people going in and out, the expression on his face vaguely discontent. He's also smoking like a chimney, discarding the butts at his feet.]

...Something's wrong with this place.

[But mostly, he's silently calling someone...]

It's definitely a strange place, not that home wasn't either. But there's more good for me here that outweighs any of the bad. And my most important people are with me, which helps. If I was alone, things would most likely be very different. Besides, it's kind of neat being able to experience a lot of what goes on here.
