...it sounds like you regret whatever it is you did. I doubt I'll think badly of you because of something you regretted doing.

Well...it turned out that it wasn't actually a game. I was enslaving and...hurting real creatures.

You didn't know they were real at the time though. Right? When you were doing those things, you thought it was just a game. You never meant to hurt real creatures.

But...thinking back, there was always evidence that it was real. I just ignored it, because it interfered with what I wanted to believe. I was too selfish to allow myself to believe the truth.

You see that it was wrong now, right? And you regret it?

But I just don't see how that can make it alright.

It doesn't take back the things you've done, but it does prove you aren't a really bad person. From here you can try and do your best to make up for those things you've done.

I think you're being harder on you than anyone else is. You need to give yourself a break, alright?

...I think the Digimon would be far harsher on me, if they got the chance.

Well, why don't you do things to help this Digital World? Prove to them that you're sorry and that you've changed. And then maybe they'll realize you aren't so bad. And then maybe they'll forgive you. All you can do is try. And you should. It'll make you feel better too.

You can't change the past, but you can help the future.

I was planning to do that, but I can't while I'm still in Camp.

Honestly, though, I don't think I deserve to "feel better". Selfishly, I want to, but...this guilt is something that I've earned.

There's only one person I've ever met who deserves to feel guilty, and you aren't that person. You feel regret and you want to make up for your actions, you deserve a chance.
