I've been putting together several similar devices myself. I am also in possession of a working force-shield and could easily set your devices as well as my own, if you can bring together a group to herd the creatures.

If you've been seeing blue light outside, that's a normal alchemical reaction. Myself, Alphonse Elric and Izumi Curtis doing our best to block, trap, and redirect the flow of the onslaught. Buildings Sheryl Nome and I have reached have been reinforced, so if your windows have been barred or replaced, that was us. Everyone in the Hotel, Mess Hall, Amestris Dorms, Hospital, and Busted Ball should be able to find gunpowder, shells, and fused dynamite safeguarded on the roof. Check for a hatch in the ceiling that wasn't there before if you couldn't previously get to the roof. This doesn't stop them, but it slows them down.

If anyone has material and can alert an alchemist in some way of what they need out of it, let us know. Good luck to you all, and we'll be trying to help as best we can.
