[The crack of lightening.

The boom of thunder.

The scattered tap-tap of a first few cold raindrops turning into a chorus of sound, and then a cacophony.

Vision reduced to a few feet of moving, pounding sheets of grey.

The first breath of spring is drawing near, boys and girls.

But with it comes the rain.]

I am called Mytho. And I do not think I am impulsive, I dance where it is dry usually. So no one falls...

I'm Anya, pleased to meet you. And that's very pragmatic of you... but there's nothing wrong with a bit of light dancing for fun, is there?

And you as well, Anya.

No, there is nothing wrong with it. It is only that I dance every day and the weather never made a difference, so to see you singing and dancing made it look as if it were important.

You're a professional? And... I guess in way it is.

I am a ballet student. There are four of us from the Gold Crown Academy here.

Why? Is it a tradition? There is one night each year people dance around a fire for a festival, but they do not do it aside from that one time...

That's impressive. I've been to a ballet performed by the Russian ballet before; it was Cinderlla.

And.... no, just expressing myself and my feelings! If that makes sense.

Prokofiev's, yes?

It makes sense. Dancing is how many people express things they don't know how to put into words...

That's right. Of course you must have studied it...

Which is why it's important, even if you do practice dance everyday... right?

Yes, although not in the Russian style.

*looks to be thinking on it* Yes, but I dance whether or not is raining. Or sunny. Or cloudy. It's not like your dancing. Or the small animals'...

Isn't that because you need to practice though? The feeling of wanting to get better should be incentive enough.

I've always danced, before I felt anything about it. But putting feeling into my dance has improved, so you are right.

Dancing without feeling... that sounds pretty sad.

I have been told it looks sad. Different from the sadness people mean to show.

*ponders for a moment* There is less twirling, I think.

Definitely less twirling. And... uh, sorry if this is too forward, but I need to ask. Do you have...trouble with emotions?
