It's February fourteenth. Today is Valentine's Day, isn't it?

To some, Valentine's Day is a religious holiday. Others consider it a day for giving presents to people that you love. Still others say that it's a day for girls to give chocolate to people that they like.

They're all right, but they're all wrong, too.

February fourteenth is a day that means different things to different people. Every day of the year means different things to different people, actually. It isn't just February fourteenth. You should let every day mean whatever you'd like it to mean. It might be a holiday today, but if that holiday doesn't mean very much to you, there's nothing wrong with not celebrating it. Or today might be any old day, but if it's special to you, you can consider it a sort of holiday, if you want to. So spend today as you wish.

For myself, Valentine's Day is a day for eating delicious chocolate. I expect to be receiving some. ♥

((OOC: Generic Valentine antics post /o/ Won't be responding to everyone, but if you'd like to thread with any of mine, go ahead and ping me. Happy V-Day, everyone! ♥))
