ITP: Paopu. NITP: Marluxia and Lexaeus
[Tacked to the Paopu Tree down by the canoe hut is a note:
"This tree will soon die if not attended to. The quality of the soil and climate are not primed to it. If you would wish to save it, I would suggest you find a plant-user. But there is no real need to save it; the one it was grown for is gone as well. So time moves ever onward, and some things thrive and some cannot, I suppose.
However, just now before leaving, I have forced it to bloom and move through bloom to fruition. What you see on this tree right now are known as "paopu fruit". The fruit of the paopu is a curious thing, with a legend associated with it: if you share one with someone, your destinies become intertwined. Your lives will always be entangled. In this place, where so many vanish and others come and memories are indistinct, who might not want such a thing? Enjoy it while it is here, because once you have missed a chance to secure your destiny, it rarely comes a second time.
