You have doubtless noticed the increase in dangerous incidents in recent weeks; if you have not, then know that camp is, in my judgement, as dangerous now as it was near Hallowe'en. If you have skill with a blade, and are willing to stand and protect those noncombatants among us, we beg you to equip yourselves from our armory and assist in the defense. Come to the cabin claimed by the Barsburg Church, if you wish questions answered.
*should you be near the Barsburg Church tonight, you will find the lights lit, and globes of magefire illuminating the lawns outside, hovering over a scene that seems nothing less than a preparation for war.
Dolls clean and oil swords and spears of all descriptions, laying them carefully in racks. Others patrol the area, wielding similar weapons. Overseeing this grim activity stand a Dragonlord and a Bishop, both fully armed and waiting.*
