[On a little table at the side of the Mess Hall, there is an absurd amount of tea. It is as though tea exploded- if tea were ever to explode in little bowls and arrange itself alphabetically. There is acerola tea, and apple tea, and apricot tea, and banana tea, and berry tea (mixed), and blackberry tea, and cinnamon tea (mild), and cinnamon tea ( ( Read more... )

No, no- don't worry about it. A journalist? That sounds like an interesting line of work.

It really is! I love my work. Do you have one yet, or are you still too young?

Me? I've tried this and that, let's say.

That's not very specific. Isn't there something special you want to do?

W-well, I'd sort of just gotten settled again back home, so I've been busy getting everything in order. For now, that's plenty.

I guess there's no hurry, but don't you have anything you'd really want to do when you're settled in? It doesn't have to be any kind of work or so, but it's good to have dreams.

T-to be honest, as long as I manage to keep things going the way they have been, that's enough for me. There are a few things I'd like to make, though, if I can get a hand with them.

Some home improvement projects, if you will.

But what about you? What made you decide to become a journalist?

[But I ~love~ talking about others. And well work :<]

Home Improvements? You want to get a new house?

I enjoy learning about others and I want others to help realize their dreams and goals thrugh my writing. I usually write for this teen magazine, you see. Someone used to tell me that journalism is a very important branch of work.

[...that was supposed to be a successful subject change, dammit. :< ]

Ah- w-well, let's just say I have my own place again after sharing for a long time. I want to take care of it properly.

I think I would have to agree. A journalist has an important responsibility to their readers.

I guess simple dreams aren't bad either. And you shouldn't worry, as long as you work for it, I'm sure you'll do just fine on your own. You don't seem like the lone wolf type, though. How come you didn't like sharing?

Yes, definitely! It's important that the truth reaches it's readers.

I-it was. With someone who can be... a bit difficult to get along with?

[Let's try that subject change ONE MORE TIME.]

B-but more importantly, what about you? There's plenty of interesting things to write about here. Are you collecting material?

[Lalalala, I don't know what a subject change is.]

I guess that's some really bad luck. But it's not like you have to share if you don't want to, right? Unless you don't have the economy that is... I've shared an apartment with my friend from High School for forever now. It would be so strange to have my own place, you know? Maybe I should try, but Ulala really spoils me and does most of the housework, it's really more comfortable sharing. Well, you have your own place now, so let's positive thinking and look forward instead of worrying about the past, all right?
