[There's a cheerfully-wrapped present -- okay, that's a lie. The wrapping paper is cheerful, but it looks like it was crumpled up and used by a toddler with no sense of aesthetics, then unwrapped and re-wrapped by someone with a slightly steadier hand. "TO: SPIKE, FROM: SCREW AND BATSU" is scrawled upon it in large block letters.
I hope you are all having a pleasant enough time despite camp being what it is. I trust Vash is being kept out of trouble. I also trust that a certain young man is not jogging in knee deep snow. There's not a lot to be said other than that I'm well and wish you all the same. I've been trying to keep busy.
Becky, I know you're doing a good job keeping Peony in line, so please keep it up. I sent you some things, just some new, cute clothes. Peony doesn't get anything, what with him being a rich emperor and all. You should both come home soon.
Sincerely,
Meryl
*she has indeed sent some clothes for Becky. There's nothing else of note...except that the letter is written on Natalia's royal stationary :)*
--hah! Hahahah! ... right, right! The rich emperor will just go courier this stuff personally at everyone's whims, huh, and we'll go see what we can do about that last bit. Who'd be royalty, huh?
*there are three items under the tree with neither address nor signature, but it will come to pass that their intended recipients find them nonetheless. Right action, after all, proceeds from right intent, and the intent of the giver was right indeed.
For Mukuro, a single perfect lotus blossom, in full bloom.
For Hidan, the long tooth of some fearsome creature, with a note attached: "Plant this in the earth, and see your intent proceed from your actions." Should he do so, from the earth where it is planted will grow a vast and terrible beast, such as will take him a day and a night to defeat, and at death will dissolve, all save the head, into the petals of the lotus.
For Robin, a staff of wood, banded with nine bands of iron. If one spins it, one might faintly hear the sea.
Hey everyone! Or well, not everyone I guess, but you guys know who you are, right? Things've been pretty hectic here and we hit some rough spots-but we're making it out okay. Even though I thought I would never stay put in one place ever again after over a year stuck in the camp. . . aughhh, just remembering gives me a headache. But in good news, that car I crashed on the first day was back at headquarters and-not completely wrecked back here! They can't blame me for it this time!
Huh? Oh, Chrno wants to say something too. . .
It's not that bad, all things considered. She just complains too much. In any case, we got home safely after leaving camp... practically at the same time, even though we left months apart. I guess they were right about the timeline thing! I haven't thought about it in a while, what with everything that's happened, but I hope everyone there is doing okay. We're... fine. And that's enough, really. I'm not much good at this... Did you want to go again, Rosette?
