He's a bit under the weather, what with getting tossed around a bit, which means he hasn't been able to do it much recently. This has put some people out, including Domyoji. Who somehow, despite being banned from the library, has brought him another stack of books

I suspect because the book is trying to convey the message that even strange things can taste fine, if you give them a chance.

But it's more entertaining for children this way.
