[In an oh-so-convenient and furthermore public clearing, Violet is training. Her punches and stance are good. Her kicks are sub par. More importantly, she looks like she's fairly absorbed in what she's doing. In other words, this is a good time to bother her.]

((OOC: Making dinner! Back in a couple hours for sure. Back now! Might be slow.))

[your Daddy is patrolling nearby. He's just on his way through. Not lurking, really.]

Right.

First thing, though I'm sure you know this already; anything and everything can be used for something. In this case, a weapon. If there is nothing nearby, well, you have two pairs of hands, feet, shoulders, elbows, knees, and if need be, your head.

Your martial arts are good for if you're fighting someone. Use it, but don't be afraid to throw in an elbow jab to the throat or a kick to the kneecaps. Anything to buy you time so you can get away. If they grab you, kick them in the shins or bash your head against their face. Believe me, no one gets up very quickly when their nose is broken.

[takes out baton]

If you are able get your hands on something like this, well, it can give you an advantage in certain situations.

[grins] good point. But let's say someone is after you and it hasn't been taken away yet.

You're able to see the person, but they don't see you. In most cases, you would run the hell away. But they're blocking your only exit. What would you do?

Well, do I know for sure they're going to try and hurt me?
