If the emperor was missing . . . I can imagine why! It sounds like fun, though. I've never been . . . I thought about asking Moses if I could stay overnight in his camp once, but, well, it was a little bit . . . smelly.

Hmm... well, bear in mind this was three of us out in the woods and mountains, huh! There's not a whole lot except snow and wind and trees. If you ask me, it's kind of an acquired taste.

Jade and Saphir, right! They're both in camp, huh, I'll be sure to point them out should they show. Nephry too, from time to time, but she tended to stay behind more often than not.

Oh, Natalia mentioned a Jade too! I'll have to meet him sometime.

He's kind of a character, huh, as long as you don't let him get to you too hard.

If he's a friend of yours . . . he likes teasing, doesn't he?

--hahaha! Right, right! Only he's kind of got a meaner streak than me, huh. Really likes to see people squirm.

Hmm . . . I know someone a little bit like that. But he means well, doesn't he?

It's an effort to see it, huh, but he really has lightened up recently, it's quite true.

Yes please! When did you get back? Did Senel or Big Red or anyone else come with ya?

[cutting a slice!] Do you want any butter? About a month ago, now. But no . . . I came alone. I wasn't expecting to come back at all.
